They say fantasies are just that, fantasies, miracles never happen and never meet those you’ve idolised as you’ll only be disappointed. All three happened to the man, that night there was no doubt he wanted more...

Nosferatu

A new form of vampire very similar to the American or Movie vampire except this race is found in Europe, they are well dressed and act posh, they like to keep their appearances immaculate, a few now look like Goths and are starting to act like typical movie type vampires, they are becoming a high risk and so far a few have lost their lives because of it.

Nosferatu are believed to have originated in London after the release of the Bram Stoker book Dracula in 1897 though at that point they did not have a name except Vampire it wasn’t until 1922 and the release of the  German film ‘Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror’ did they take on the name, as a mass recall and destruction was ordered of the film for it’s copyright infringement of Dracula those who idolised it called their group Nosferatu, all those generic Vampires that had no name joined under the Nosferatu title.

Nosferatu do not get much respect from old Vampires, they view them as nondescript runts that should be killed.

They have become widespread across Europe especial in modern time with the craze for Vampire movies and Goth-fiction, like irate teenagers they demand a voice but few are taken seriously. Nosferatu are often mixed up with the American Vampire they are both spawned from the same idea just Nosferatu are marginally older, one way to tell them apart is the Nosferatu have little pointed tips to their ears and pre-1950 Nosferatu’s front two incisors are long and pointed.

They can be killed in the normal manners, the stake through the heart kills them but holy water does not melt their flesh, silver does not burn them, they may hiss and protest at crosses and churches but it does not truly affect them.

Like the American Vampire they are believed to have come about because of accidental Turnings and abandoned so they had no idea what they were, like Mogli in the Jungle book who was thought he was a wolf because he was raised by wolves a lost new Turned Vampire will look to what stories they believe in and assume they are one. Just as the American Vampire can easily Turn another so can the Nosferatu that is why they have become so widespread over such a short space of time. Their fondness for the old Vampire stories and movies have made a few take pilgrimage to the countries and often some will stay populating the area, the no kill rule was a problem with glee did a lot of Dominors welcome the kill the creator and progeny of non-allowed Turnings simply to control the mass of modern Nosferatu.

They don’t seem to specialise in any particular power, they say they can change to a bat or a wolf but none have been witnessed doing so, they have a minor charm over humans allowing them to feed but nothing spectacular.
