Nor do they go around wearing a tall pointy black hats and riding broomsticks.

Modern spiritual and natural ways of life are still viewed with some suspicion by ‘normal’ society but really the number of people that prescribe to this way of life is huge, they don’t go around announcing it for fear of what it might cost them, something as petty as not acknowledging it exists to the extreme of being disowned by family. Wiccans, Pagans and Druids all try to live their life in harmony with the seasons and the planet some go further and take their natural skills to the next step, seeyers, mediums, clairvoyants etc, these are jobs that help pay for their lives as modern day is very hard to survive without some form of good income, mortgage/rent, taxes, bills they all have to be paid. These seeyers are open to more than the average human, their minds are able to cope with what is around, they see through the Veil and into the spirit world, to them a Vampire is neither one nor the other but they try to avoid most Vampires as they do not like to be fed upon.

Biology

They are human, some experiments have some evidence of increased brain activity during psychic activity but nothing conclusive and nothing to note them abnormal, they are simply human. They live, they breathe, they make merry and if life has been good to them they die happy, death is not the end as they believe in a spiritual after-life so if they ever need to come back they can.

Connections with others

Because of their spiritual beliefs and their natural way of life they are often a target for a prospective Cruorin as well as their magic use making them pop up on the Magi’s radar. An exceptional Seeyer will have several Vampire and Magi watching them, a person with unusually great talent can not be passed by though a Magi will take them when they are young a Vampire will wait until they have matured and lived some of their life.
