Cast of Characters

 

A comprehensive list of the characters found within the main I am Wolfe Series. The list of characters is large since the main storyline takes place over 80 years ultimately nature takes it course on the mortals.

 

 

 

Main & Important Characters

Although these are not all 'main' characters the ones listed here are very important to the story.

 

 

Meg Wolfe

The leading lady so to speak of the story, it is her interpretation, understanding and view point that we travel through book one, She-Wolf, her maiden name is Megan Mackenzie.

A delightfully naive young woman who manages to keep her virginity... until she meets her guardian Elf a mistake that she quickly forgets so on her wedding night her husband believes he will be her first and only.

Meg drifts through her life blissfully unaware of everything going on around her, her biggest worry being The Prince and his un-welcome advances, this all comes to an end when life smacks her in the face with a devastating blow and she will never be the same again. Meg is a main character throughout the entire main storyline series, She-Wolf is entirely about her but the other books feature other characters and their story.

 

Edward Wolfe

Meg's lover and eventually her husband, he is also her creator. A typical git that everyone likes to hate, fit body, bad attitude, lots of money, big fancy house, almost the idealistic kind of vampire however what he never feels obliged to tell Meg is he lost a few of his marbles a long time ago.

Until now he has never been in love and he tries his very best to stay level headed but love being something new to him causes trouble for his inner equilibrium. Jealousy, betrayal and the mental anguish of dealing with a young pretty wife are also new emotions he has to deal with never mind the devotion, tenderness and self restraint. Through out the entire series we find out why he is the way he is and that inside that hard exterior he is lost soul in need of help.

 

 

Alexander Wolfe

Meg's mentor, best friend and the creator of Edward. A man of two halves, one half always ready for a laugh and good time the other half serious, courageous and heroic. More appropriately a vampire of two halves, one half human and nearly one half wolf.

Tall skinny and never taken seriously by Edward he tries to make Meg see she would be better with him than his protégé but girls never want the skinny comedian they want the brooding muscley bad attitude git that is always going to land them in trouble. Alexander tries to show Meg he is the hero and that no matter what he would protect her.

 

 

The Prince

Ruling vampire of Scotland lives in a Georgian house in Edinburgh, he has apparently been there since before the city was a city and before humans had ever decided to start colonising the area. Originally believed to be from Greece he never lets on his true origins, because of his looks and interests he is called a poof behind his back and is fast becoming the joke of all other Dominors but when it comes down to it he is the last person you want to anger. Some believe he calls himself The Prince because he IS the Prince of Darkness, only two people know his true origins his closest friend Edward and his favourite pet Andy. His origins are unravelled throughout the series.

 

 

 

Arrays

Alexander's flatmate and long standing friend he was not just a friend but a mentor and guardian to Arrays. Alexander rescued him as a boy from a life of slavery however the one thing he wanted was the one thing that Alexander could not give him, to be the same. Arrays waited and waited for his mentor to learn the one task which would mean joining him but Alexander did not want to take the risk of killing his young companion then after a few years Arrays joined with the Grendel a mistake he regretted when he lost his good looks and all his hair.

Living in the underground city of Edinburgh near the old Plague houses he reads constantly and as a hobby keeps carnivorous plants, he is fairly easy going so long as you don't interrupt his reading, he doesn't like to get involved with any of the Wolfe family affairs but when it comes to his friend being in turmoil and the jumped up Edward pushing his weight around he will use force.

 

 

 

Chris Brooks

Starts off working for Edward as their limo driver but after a un-scheduled house party he ends up as Meg's pet Cruorin, he keeps disappointing Meg to the point where she wonders if there is any point of keeping him but now he is a Cruorin he falls under the Vampire category as well and she is held accountable for all him as ordered by the Dominor of America. Chris is the biological father of Eddie and becomes a police officer in New York, he likes his work but later he becomes a musician when his natural retirement age comes about and he is still a pet.

 

 

 

Brett Morgan

Roommate and crèche companion to Ray. A freshly Turned American Vampire only six months old he is naive and unaware of what supernatural things are around him. Abandoned by his creator before he woke as a vampire he had no idea that he even was one until bloodlust consumed him. The American Dominor saved him and paired him with another abandonee.

 

 

Ray Burke

Roommate and crèche companion to Morgan he too was abandoned by his creator like Morgan except Ray was Turned about a year and a half before Morgan, there is no way to tell if they are from the same creator, if a very powerful vampire was available they could search through both their memories and find out but sadly America lacks vampires with that sort of power.

 

 

Eladria

Adopted daughter of The Prince and one of the biggest show-offs around. She thinks herself the most beautiful thing on the plant and likes to tell everyone else how they are nothing compared to her. She is spoilt rotten and is very annoyed that Edward went for Meg instead of her, no amount of foot stomping and crawling to 'daddy' would make him give her up.

 

 

 

Eddie Wolfe

Eddie is the son of Chris a product of a one night stand as Chris vented his frustration at not being able to have Meg. Eddie grows up through the series of books, he is an odd cookie although his parents try to give him a normal up bringing he has a strange obsession with biology and understanding DNA, he has an uncanny ability to predict the future.

 

 

AE 3450 (Matt)

Matt is a product of years of planned breeding, the Eugenics group and Nazis were part of his families history, his sole job is to destroy everything that his superiors say, at sort of 'super soldier' he is the embodiment of perfection with one minor problem that they didn't expect, the continuous breeding of perfect + perfect no matter who your partner is has meant that a recessive gene has come forth, AE3450 is Albino.

 

 

Eric Wolfe

Creator of Alexander, progeny of Tjolnir and a friend to Meg. He is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, his mixture of Gaelic and Scots language is strange but he catches on fast and picks up English in next to no time. Upon getting to know him his real name is Emmerick, Eric is what he prefers. A blacksmith by trade he makes very sought after weaponry, he is responsible for Alexander's sword, Having been a vampire for nearly a thousand years he looks more animal than man but his demeanour shines through and he is seen for what he really is a remarkable trustworthy man.

 

 

Tjolnir Wolfeson

Son of Fenris the Wolf and a Succubus vampire, he was left with humans to be raised by them, his mighty power was too much and before long he was given the title of Warlord. Having conquered a large section of the far south land into Fortriu he claimed it as his own, he took his pregnant wife hoping to settle. On his last journey to what is now Scotland he was turned by his Succubus mother who after meeting her for the first time abandoned him again. In Scotland he learnt the hard way what he really is, after his wife died of old age he decided to go in search of others of his kind. Finding out that there is others similar but none exactly the same he returned to Scotland and set up home in his land, he eventually saw a boy that was his double, he took the chance and turned him, Eric was created a vampire too and together they were virtually inseparable.

 

 

Modeus

The Lilitu American Dominor that takes over after killing the Gaea American Dominor. Fairly young by European standards he was a Cruorin for many years under the name of a Christian Church group until eventually he was turned. Angry at the Gaea for their lack of respect and their 'free love' attitude to all gods he is hell bent on destroying them all.

 

 

Bodica

The English Dominor and has been for a very long time, a fiery red head with a no nonsense attitude she does not suffer fools lightly, her first impression of Meg is not a nice one, she loathes the Wolfe family. She is angry at a lot of men, one of her closest consorts is her granddaughter Heanua.

 

 

Andy

The favourite pet Cruorin of The Prince, he use to be a Prince in Greece but was given a choice to help his brother who was King, he took the choice that helped but he was made a Cruorin and has been ever since. He often regrets the decision he made but never lets on.

 

 

Diane

A woman who takes her daughter to the same playground as Eddie but after a rocky divorce is left penniless and living in a rough part of town and forced to put her daughter to a cheap under funded nursery, she tried to trap Eric but it doesn't work then she causes a lot of problems for Edward and Meg, she is very underhanded and will stop at nothing to get what she wants, money.

 

 

Azriel

A chimera born of four fathers and Meg is his mum, his four fathers are The Prince, Alexander, Chris and Edward, he looks strange with pointed elf-like ears, a bushy black tail, clawed hands and feet, all his incisors are pointed and large wings. He is a very important character and fights in the battle of Ragnarok to save the good. His wings are originally white but turn black after he falls from heaven, thanks to his brother Garren.

 

 

Garren

An arrange pregnancy makes Meg give birth to a wolf cub, his exact father is unknown until Eddie runs a DNA test. Garren learns the ability to change into a human but whenever he is frightened he turns back into a wolf, everyone bar the Wolfe family view and treat him like a pet dog his family view him as another member of the pack and treat him so. No one really understands Garren, he has a strange ability to travel to different realms of thought and reality.

 

 

Accalia

A happy a blessed day when Meg and Edward finally get to have their own child, a daughter in amongst all the boys she is treasured like a princess. She makes a break from her 'over caring' parents and ends up a junkie, her parents try to help her but it only makes her want to escape further and when she finally decides to come home she comes back pregnant with no idea who the father is.

 

 

 

Side Characters

 

Although these characters do not feature as much as the ones above they too are important to the story line.

 

 

John

One of Meg's friends. Being a Grendel makes him hideous, he struggles to make a name for himself and in general struggles with his supernatural life. Although being Meg's friend he is the one she believes to be spreading nasty rumours about her, she isn't sure if John is using her for information.

 

 

American Dominor

Ruling vampire over the United States, he is a Grendel but as far as Grendel go he isn't that ugly and deformed. A firm but fair hand he gives Meg even though he is far too busy trying to control the ever growing population of American Teen Vampires who have no respect for life and how everything must be in balance.

 

 

Darktanion De'Haven aka 'Draven'

Friend of Edward's and a one night stand with Meg. A French Incubus that only features once in the first book but has several re-occurrences in the second book I Am Wolfe: Alpha & Omega so I felt it best to mention him and give him a face now.

 

Nicole

Originally thought to be the main Gaea Altus in New York he is found out to be a Spy, he is the go between for the Lilitu and the Magi, he uses the South American training camp as an excuse to try and exterminate all the young loyal Gaea.

 

 

Kiernan

The Irishman, an aid to help destroy the Lilitu in Ireland.

 

 

Jamie

One of Matt's many children, Meg hijacks him from a fertility clinic.

 

 

Alexis 'Lexy'

A granddaughter of Matt, Meg ends up being the midwife that delivers her.

 

 

Hans

Edward's neighbour and the guy who helps him get back into shape, he is often a busy body and because of his Lilitu past he isn't trusted.

 

 

Dean & Susan

Two vampire hunters, Dean is the dark brooding one who is always on the move trying to rid the world of vampires, Susan is his kick-ass girlfriend, eventually time catches up with them and like all humans they get married and settle down, Dean isn't able to cope as well as Susan when it comes to giving up slaying.

 

 

Philotes

The niece of The Prince, she is forced to marry him but he refuses to ruin her sweet and gentle nature, she is kind and gentle full of virtue and compassion, he refuses to take her virginity which she has promised to keep in exchange for immortality against her mother Nyx's wishes. Her father is believed to be the essence of the universe, although she looks human she hatched from an egg.

 

 

Nyx

Believed to be sister to The Prince, she along with Aphrodite is the cause of his current situation. She has spawned many miss-fit children but one was unexpected, she laid an egg and from it hatched a beautiful girl perfect in every way, all her previous children and children following have one problem or another. She is annoyed that her daughter will not marry and have children and tries to force her.

 

 

Thomas Wolfe

The son of Alexander and Meg, an experiment on how far a test tube baby could be grown, it was a hope that the human population could be re-built but they had to begin somewhere. Thomas is heavily medicated for ADHD and suffers E number allergies. He is the double of his father but breaks away from the vampire side as he has no know powers or abilities and wishes to live a normal life.

 

 

Andrew Wolfe

Azriel's eldest son, the result of a one night stand when Azriel has his first sexual liaison, Azriel does not know about him until years after his birth, he was born with pointy elf-like ears, pointy incisors and a tail which was removed when he was only a few days old. Eventually his mum marries and he has normal human half-siblings his step-dad hates him and eventually he is forced to live with his real father Azriel.

 

 

 

 

Bit-Parts

The story would have progressed without them ever having names but nonetheless they have been given names.

 

 

Elizabeth & George Mackenzie

Meg's mum and dad, they sadly die in a car accident in chapter one of She-Wolf. Meg's mum's maiden name is Elizabeth Wolfe

 

Daniel

Alkonost Altus living in Glasgow as a quite popular comedian, creator of Joanne.

 

Joanne

Alkonost living in Glasgow working as a Waitress, progeny of Daniel.

 

Thomas

Not to be mixed up with Thomas Wolfe, this Thomas is Judith's progeny.

 

Stoned

Ciudach Living in Edinburgh with his creator John-Paul, working as a Mechanic
